We love to walk on the beach. The oceanside beach of Elbow Cay is miles long, mostly deserted (except during spring break) and gorgeous.
It’s always changing. Sometimes tranquil.
Sometimes angry.
The water is so translucent you can see the waves pick up the sand as they reach the shore.
Waves breaking over the limestone outcroppings are mesmerizing.
Coral offshore lends gorgeous color to the water.
Here’s an approaching storm. See the rain on the right in the photo? And the spume on top of the waves? Lots of wind.
Evenings have a delicate color – soft and soothing.
Breathtaking. And always, the calming sound of the surf.
