Sunday was Grant’s birthday and we celebrated with turtle cake – an old family recipe involving lots of chocolate, nuts and caramel, plus a little bit of actual cake. We had dinner at Harbor’s Edge.
During dinner, we watched the sun set and the cruisers enjoying a raft-up – they tie their dinghies together and drift along while drinking and sharing hors d’oeuvres. I hope they didn’t end up in Rhode Island!
We skipped the raft-up because we wanted to walk on the beach –
So we could see the moonrise.
What a wonderful day. Happy birthday Grant!
I am glad that Grant had such a wonderful birthday. (Only wish we could have been there.) Our best to all!
