Gilliam Bay’s breathtakingly beautiful beach, on the south end of Green Turtle Cay, is just a short walk from the public dinghy dock on Black Sound. A local guide helpfully points the way —

The colors of the water here are truly amazing. It’s all that white coral sand.
Gillam Bay is one of our favorite beaches.
Not much shelling or sealife, but we found these little minnows.
And this sea star.
Goldwin picked up these treasures.
Floats (and he’s carrying our flip-flops). Or, actually, dragging them along the beach.
Hard to leave such beauty.
But time to return to the boat.
Lucky we did, because a series of unexpected squalls went through – lots of wind and rain. Glad to be back on the boat.
