Volunteers worked hard to create a holiday village in the ball park, as a fundraiser for Hopetown’s community center.
Complete with a big tree decked in holiday splendor.

Even an ice rink (for kids) constructed special plastic sheeting, tabbed together like puzzle pieces. It mimics ice – sort of.
Some of the kids have never seen snow — but they dream of snowboarding.

Kids at the local church put on an fun holiday play with elaborate costumes and beautiful singing.

We spent time in Bermuda one Christmas time and they had a Christmas light boat contest and they all paraded by the beach. It was terrific.
