The manatee is back – and he’s a she! Ms. Manatee visited our dinghy one afternoon in Hopetown Harbour in the Abacos, where Motu Iti is on a mooring.
She may have been interested in munching on whatever has attached itself to our Avon rubber dinghy. Or — she may have had an amorous intent. Watch the video and decide for yourself. Is she munching or hugging? Is she hungry or lonely?
But she’s very friendly and we loved spending the afternoon with her.
