A Day on the Beach

The beach on the oceanside of Elbow Cay is gorgeous. 

We often do our (almost) daily walk on the beach.

One day we saw these cute little birds.  Are they chasing the waves or are the waves chasing them?  And why don’t they get blooshed by the waves like I do?

Someone made this cruise liner sand sculpture – looks like it’s really on the water.

After a couple days of 30+ winds, there are big waves, with spindrift on top.

We can watch the waves from a fun little beach bar, On Da Beach.  Many restaurants here make a signature fruity rum drink and this one is called “Turtle Racer.”  Goldwin prefers Kalik.
